From Idea to Ethical Apparel – How We Work with You

At Ethical Edge Collective, we make the journey from concept to finished garment simple, transparent, and stress-free. Whether you're a first-time designer or a growing label, we guide you through every step of our ethical clothing manufacturing process — right here in Brisbane.

We specialise in custom clothing production, offering no minimums, stretchwear expertise, and a collaborative approach grounded in integrity and quality.

Step 1: Consultation

It all starts with a conversation.

We get to know you, your brand, and your goals. You'll tell us about your vision, timeline, and the types of garments you want to create. We’ll also discuss where you're at — whether you have patterns, fabric, or are starting from scratch.

Step 2: Design & Development

Once we understand your concept, we move into development:

– We can create patterns from your sketches or tech packs.

– We grade your design across your chosen size range.

– You can provide your own materials, or we can assist you in sourcing sustainable, performance, or lifestyle fabrics.

📌 Don’t have a tech pack? No problem. We can help build one with you.

Step 3: Sampling

We create your first sample to bring your design to life. This includes:

  • Fit testing
  • Construction Checks

We’ll work with you to make any necessary tweaks until the garment is just right. You’ll receive a finalised sample ready for sign-off before moving to production.

Step 4: Production

Once you're happy with the sample, we move into production.

  • We cut, sew, finish, and quality-check your garments in-house at our Brisbane workshop.
  • Our ethical team ensures every piece is made with care, skill, and respect.
  • As an Ethical Clothing Australia accredited manufacturer, we follow transparent, fair, and legally compliant processes every step of the way.

Step 5: Delivery & Ongoing Support

After production, we package your order and coordinate delivery or pickup.

We stay in touch and are always here for future reorders, updates, or new styles. Many of our clients become long-term partners — and we love watching your business grow.
